New board members are elected each year, and work in a voluntary capacity.


 Eilish McKeown ACC – ICF Ireland Chapter President

Eilish has over 30 years experience across the public, private and voluntary sectors in Ireland and has worked at management level for over 20 years. She has been the lead coach in developing the Connect Coaching Network & Coaching Culture in the Health Service, Dublin North East. Eilish is a certified Conversational Intelligence Coach C-IQ, Conflict Coach, Executive Coach, Coach Mentor & Supervisor, and has over 10 years experience as a Trainer and Group Facilitator.


Eilish brings her knowledge and expertise to the role of President and will work hard to contribute positively to the ICF Ireland Chapter & team of member coaches.


James McGill ACC – Vice-President


James qualified as a life and business coach with the Irish Lifecoach Institute in May 2014.

At the same time his employer, Symantec, trained him to coach employees within the company. Since then he has worked to grow the coaching culture in the company. This was recognised in 2015 with the ICF Coaching Culture Award. James also coaches on a voluntary basis with Jobcare in Dublin and attained his ACC credential with ICF in May 2016. James was Director of Events for the ICF Ireland Chapter in 2016.

He is passionate about the value of coaching and the difference that it can make to people. Coaching has changed the way he lives his life and sees the world. He grew up in Brighton and moved to Ireland in 1997. He lives in Raheny with his wife and 3 children.



Kathleen Fanning ACC – Director of Membership and Development

Kathleen is delighted to be continuing on the ICF Ireland Board changing roles from Finance to Director of Membership and Development.

She trained with Coaching Development in Tipperary Institute in 2007 and as a lecturer in the college helped develop a strong student coaching programme. Along with her private career and life coaching work, Kathleen’s coaching has been integrated into many academic and community based training programmes.

Since 1995, Kathleen has been involved with the delivery of a wide range of programmes in the public, private and community sector. Her interests lie in coaching and facilitation – fostering personal change, confidence building and personal effectiveness and she has facilitated teams and coached many individuals to maximise their personal and professional potential. Kathleen is certified to use MBTI, Belbin Team Roles, NLP and TA with individuals and groups.

Kathleen was jointly awarded ICF Ireland’s Career Coach of the Year Award for 2015. She is looking forward to working with new and long standing members this year, growing our coaching circles and hopes to encourage all our members to work towards gaining their credential.


Orla Carolan – Director of Finance

Orla holds an Accredited Diploma in Executive and Life Coaching graduating in September 2015. Orla is also a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and a member of the Business Leaders Forum for ACCA Ireland. Orla is owner of The Talent Coach Limited and provides Executive, Team and Group Coaching services to individuals and business clients in the areas of leadership development, performance enhancement, change management, team engagement and bespoke workshop development for specific business topics.

Orla has over 17 years’ experience in the financial services sector and held a Senior Management position at JPMorgan Bank Ireland as Head of Financial Reporting and Audit until June 2016. Orla has extensive corporate experience in people and team management, development and engagement, outsourcing, strategic management, change management and finance. Orla also volunteers with Jobcare as a Career Coach and Mentor and is a Mentor on the Trinity College Grad-Link Programme.


Siobhan Boucher – Director of Events

Owner at New Shoes Coaching, Siobhan has been coaching clients on career and personal goals since 2010. She is powered by the belief that we already have everything we need to experience life to its fullest, it’s only a matter of how aware we are of this. Our experience of life is created from within, designing and executing a life plan becomes easy when we understand why life appears the way it is for us.

Siobhan has special interest in working with women and couples to create their family. She has run a Fertility Support group in the community and more recently online.

She has 14 years corporate experience in hazardous waste management and IT implementation.  She has a BA in Public Administration, a Diploma in Business & Personal life coaching from the Irish Life Coach Institute. Siobhan has also completed Career, Relationship & Parenting Coach Training, is a trained facilitator in the evidence based Parenting Your Teen Program, a 3 Principles Facilitator and is a Skills Assessor with the ILI coach training program.


Jeff Turner – Director of Communications

Jeff has been working in the Learning and Development arena for the past 20 years. During this time he has worked with Lloyds Bank, Bank of Ireland, AOL, O2 and has been running the EMEA Learning and Development function in Facebook for the past 6 years.

Jeff has a Masters Degree in Performance Management from Leicester University and is a qualified coach with the ICF.

Jeff who is originally from the UK and now living in Ireland, is married to Helen with a son in university and 2 daughters. In his spare time Jeff enjoys playing golf.
